The ski area in les Contamines is situated between 1200m and 2500m altitude and offers various opportunities for different levels of skier/snowboarder. The resort boasts great sunshine and excellent natural snow conditions. Enjoy panoramic views from Mont-Blanc to the Beaufortain region.

The slopes wind down between glens and dales, wide runs, pine forests chalets and old farm buildings. The village nestles at the foot of Mont-Blanc, the higher slopes offering magnificent views, the lower areas offering tree-lined skiing.

The resort is part of the “Evasion Mont Blanc” ski area, 445 kms of slopes, 6 resorts in the Mont-Blanc region : Saint-Gervais, Megève, Saint Nicolas de Véroce, Combloux & La Giettaz.

The Contamines/Hauteluce ski area:

• 120 kilometres of slopes ranging from an altitude of 1164 metres to 2500 metres.
• 48 slopes : 8 green, 11 blue, 18 red and 9 black runs.
• 24 ski lifts : 4 cable cars, 8 chair lifts and 12 drag lifts.
• A sunny exposition with varied skiing.
• 3 departure points: 2 in Les Contamines and one in Hauteluce (Savoie region).
• Ski back to the village.

The ski slopes will be open from Friday 18th December 2009 until Friday 23rd April 2010 (+ weekends in December, snow conditions permitting).
