Telemark World Cup Contamines 2026
From March 26 to 28, 2026, Les Contamines hosted the final of the Telemark World Cup, with three formats on the program: Classic, Sprint and Parallel Sprint. A decisive final stage for the globes… and the French clearly made their mark over the weekend.
Friday – Classic: Carliez assures, les Bleus placed
The Classic, a long and demanding event, kicked off the final. In the women’s race, Augustine Carliez finished 3rd, a result which enabled her to claim the small globe of the speciality.
In the men’s race, the French remained clustered at the front, confirming the density of the home team and providing an ideal start to the weekend.
Saturday – Parallel sprint: double French podium
This is the most spectacular event: head-to-head duels right through to the final. The public was thrilled with three Frenchmen in the last four.
Men’s parallel sprint ranking :
- Adrian Ball (CAN)
- Charly Petex (FRA)
- Yoann Rostolan (FRA)
- Alexis Page (FRA)
A partial French podium, with Petex and Rostolan in the top 3, and a collective French domination in the finale.
In the women’s category, Augustine Carliez reached the final after a courageous half, before finishing 2nd, confirming her solid weekend in front of the Contaminard public.
Globes: France in the spotlight
The weekend was also decisive for the season rankings:
- Yoann Rostolan wins the parallel sprint globe
- Augustine Carliez wins the Classic globe
Two major awards won in front of their home crowd, in an overexcited atmosphere at the foot of the runway.
An intense, spectacular final, and above all a solid French team… supported by the Contamines crowd. On the snow, the French (of whom we are proud partners) were at home. Yoann wins his first crystal globe, while France wins its 3rd consecutive globe of the nations.
