Is Le Gai Soleil close to the ski lifts?

Yes, the Les Contamines-Montjoie ski lifts are just a few minutes away on foot, by car or via the village’s free shuttle service, which stops close to the hotel.

How easy is it to get around without a car?

Rather, yes. Le Gai Soleil is located in the center of the village, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and services. Free shuttle buses also serve the entire resort.

Does the hotel have parking?

Yes, parking is available for hotel guests.

Is the hotel suitable for families?

We love kids here! We have family rooms and games available, and can recommend family activities close to the hotel.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, pets are accepted (see “Services” page for prices). The destination is perfect for enjoying the mountains with them.

Do the rooms have a mountain view?

Many of Le Gai Soleil’s rooms offer unobstructed views of the mountains or the Montjoie valley, so you can make the most of your accommodation in Les Contamines-Montjoie.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?

For hotel guests, we offer a unique menu every evening from 6pm, at €30/person (hot boxes, regional specialties). We also offer snacks throughout the day, on request. More information on our “catering” page.
